The 1070 aluminum circle is a circular blank made primarily from 1070 pure aluminum, precision-processed through hot rolling or cold rolling. This series of products features high aluminum content (≥99.7%), excellent ductility, and outstanding electrical and thermal conductivity, making it an essential raw material in various industrial and consumer products.
Depending on the production process, 1070 aluminum circles are divided into hot rolled and cold rolled types.
Hot Rolled 1070 Aluminum Circle
Hot rolled 1070 aluminum circles are produced through a high-temperature rolling process, which improves the metal grain structure and densifies the internal organization of the material. This results in better toughness, higher impact resistance, and excellent ductility, making it ideal for subsequent deep drawing, spinning, welding, and other processing.
Common applications include cookware, lighting fixtures, electrical housings, signage, and packaging containers.
Cold Rolled 1070 Aluminum Circle
Cold rolled 1070 aluminum circles are manufactured by further processing hot rolled sheets at room temperature through multiple cold rolling passes. This process significantly improves dimensional accuracy and surface finish, producing circles with smooth surfaces, tighter thickness tolerance, and refined surface quality. Cold rolled aluminum circles are especially suitable for applications with high aesthetic requirements or surface treatments.

Electronics and Electrical Appliances: Capacitor housings, electronic tube isolators, leveraging excellent conductivity
The choice between hot rolled and cold rolled 1070 aluminum discs mainly depends on your processing method and final product requirements:
Hot rolling is preferred for products requiring further deep drawing, spinning, or other large deformation processes; applications requiring high material ductility; and wide-width product processing.
Cold rolling is preferred for products requiring high dimensional accuracy; applications requiring a high surface finish; and products not requiring further large deformation processes.
For deep drawing processes such as kitchenware and lamps, it is generally recommended to use O-state (soft) material, as this state will not crack during subsequent stamping and spinning processes.
