In the European and American markets, over 70% of professional pizzerias use aluminum pizza pans. This preference is driven by aluminum's exceptional thermal conductivity, approximately 237 W/(m·K)-more than three times that of steel.
At the same time, aluminum fully complies with FDA regulations and relevant national food-contact standards. The aluminum purity of 1050, 1060, 1070, and 1100 alloys exceeds 99%, ensuring an extremely low risk of heavy metal migration.

Commercial pizza pans must withstand high-frequency use and extreme temperature fluctuations. Compared with stainless steel or carbon steel, 1xxx series pure aluminum discs offer irreplaceable advantages:
1.Excellent Thermal Conductivity
Aluminum's thermal conductivity is significantly higher than that of stainless steel. This ensures even heat distribution during baking, allowing the pizza base to become crispy quickly an essential factor for output efficiency in commercial pizzerias.
2.Outstanding Deep Drawing and Spinning Performance
Pizza pans often require a certain depth or specially formed edges. Alloys such as 1050 and 1100 in O temper (fully annealed) feature high elongation, excellent crack resistance during forming, and a very low earing rate, making them ideal for complex shapes.
3.Food-Grade Safety and Corrosion Resistance
The natural oxide layer on pure aluminum effectively protects against moisture and food acids/alkalis, fully complying with international food safety standards such as FDA and LFGB.
4.Lightweight and Easy Handling
With a density of approximately 2.7 g/cm³, aluminum discs are 30-50% lighter than steel, enabling easier handling in busy kitchens and reducing structural load requirements on equipment.
5.Cost Efficiency
Aluminum discs are highly recyclable. After long-term use, they can be recycled and reused, reducing waste disposal costs and improving overall economic efficiency.
1. Temper Selection
For pizza pan manufacturing, O temper (fully soft) is the most commonly used. If additional rigidity is required, H12 or H14 temper can also be selected.
2. Thickness and Diameter Range
Thickness: Typically from 0.5 mm to 6.0 mm.
Thick commercial deep-dish pizza pans usually use 2.0 mm or above to prevent thermal deformation.
Diameter: Common sizes range from 6 inches to 20 inches (150 mm – 500 mm+).
3. Surface Quality
High-quality aluminum discs should be free of scratches, oil stains, oxidation spots, and have burr-free edges. This not only reduces subsequent polishing processes but also ensures strong adhesion for further coatings, such as PTFE non-stick coatings.

Aluminum circles produced by HAOMEI Aluminum are specifically optimized for the following processes:
Spinning:
1050-O aluminum discs perform exceptionally well on spinning machines, producing uniform textures and a high-quality surface finish.
Deep Drawing:
Strict grain size control ensures that no "orange peel" effect occurs during multi-stage drawing, making the material ideal for manufacturing deep-dish pizza pans with reinforced rims.
