Material Selection and Alloy Grades

Aluminum Circle Alloy Grades

1000 Series Aluminum (Pure Aluminum)

The 1000 series contains over 99% aluminum. Common grades include 1050, 1060, 1070, and 1100, known for excellent formability, high reflectivity, and stable anodizing properties.

1000 series aluminum circles are widely used in standard cookware and lighting components. For example, 1050 aluminum circles are typically used for deep drawing cookware and induction coil bases. Thickness ranges from 0.7–7.0 mm, with diameters up to 100-650 mm.

3000 Series Aluminum (Al-Mn Alloy)

Represented by 3003, this series features excellent formability, high elongation, and superior surface quality.

3003 aluminum circles have fine grain structure, smooth surface, and high reflectivity, making them suitable for premium cookware and lighting. They can undergo various post-treatments such as anodizing, enameling, coating, and deep drawing.

5000 Series Aluminum (Al-Mg Alloy)

Represented by 5052, this series offers low density, light weight, high tensile strength, excellent elongation, and good fatigue resistance.

5000 series aluminum circles are widely used in high-end cookware and pressure vessels, including pressure cookers.
