The 3003 series aluminum-manganese alloy is one of the most widely used rust-resistant aluminum alloys. With approximately 1.0-1.5% manganese, its strength is about 20% higher than pure aluminum (1000 series) while retaining excellent corrosion resistance and formability.
H18 indicates the "fully hard" temper. This means the aluminum sheet has undergone maximum cold work during rolling, without annealing. As a result, it has very high tensile and yield strength, a hard texture, and is resistant to deformation.
A rolled surface refers to aluminum circles that retain the original smoothness from the rolling process. Such a surface is typically flat, free of oil or scratches, and exhibits a natural metallic silver sheen. It provides an ideal base for subsequent surface treatments such as painting, anodizing, or embossing.

Outstanding Strength and Hardness:
Thanks to the H18 fully hard temper, it is much harder than pure aluminum or O-temper (annealed) aluminum, capable of withstanding higher pressures without bending or deformation. This makes it ideal for structural or support components.
Excellent Corrosion Resistance:
The 3003 alloy naturally forms a dense oxide layer, offering strong resistance to atmospheric, water, and many chemical exposures. Even in humid environments, it remains stable and durable.
Excellent Deep Drawing and Formability:
Despite being fully hard, 3003 retains good plasticity. With proper molds, it can be deep-drawn into complex shapes (e.g., cookware, lampshades) without cracking, making it ideal for stamping processes.
Good Thermal and Electrical Conductivity:
While not as conductive as pure aluminum, its thermal performance is excellent, making it suitable for cookware and heat dissipation components. Its electrical conductivity is sufficient for many electrical enclosures and connectors.
Lightweight and Eco-Friendly:
Aluminum has about one-third the density of steel, making it ideal for lightweight designs. It is 100% recyclable, aligning with modern sustainable manufacturing principles.
High Cost Performance:
3003 aluminum alloy balances performance, usability, and cost, providing an economical solution for mass production.

1. 3003 DC Aluminum Circle
DC aluminum discs are produced using direct chill (DC) casting + hot rolling + cold rolling, resulting in a denser microstructure and stable mechanical properties. They are suitable for demanding stamping and forming applications.
Features: Good ductility, resistant to cracking, capable of multiple stretches and deep drawing, minimal scrap.
Applications:
Soup pots
Frying pans
Kettles
Pressure cookers
Pizza pans
Rice cookers
2. 3003 CC Aluminum Circle
CC aluminum coils are made using continuous casting rolling technology, with a shorter production chain and higher efficiency, resulting in lower costs. The surface is smooth and flat but has slightly weaker deep-drawing capability than DC, making it suitable for medium-to-shallow drawing or flat sheet applications.
Features: Smooth surface, cost-effective, ideal for lighting applications.
Applications:
Recessed lighting
High-bay industrial lighting
Accent lighting
Traffic signal reflectors

vs. 3003 O-Temper Aluminum Circle:
O-temper is very soft with high elongation, suitable for extremely complex deep drawing (very high stretch ratio). However, the finished product is soft and prone to deformation. 3003 H18 alulminum disc is better when the final product requires some rigidity and strength.
vs. 5052 Aluminum Circle:
5052 is an Al–Mg alloy with superior corrosion resistance (especially seawater) and fatigue strength, but it is more expensive and slightly less formable. For extreme corrosion-resistant requirements (e.g., marine use), consider 5052 aluminum disc; otherwise, 3003 H18 is more economical.
vs. 1070 Rolled Surface Aluminum Circle:
1070 aluminum circle has higher purity, better thermal and electrical conductivity, and is softer. Its strength is much lower than 3003 H18. If strength is critical, 3003 H18 is preferred.
