As a professional aluminum circle manufacturer, HAOMEI Aluminum produces aluminum circle discs for lampshades in 1000, 3000, 5000, and 8000 series alloys. We provide thicknesses ranging from 0.5-6.0mm and diameters of 100-1200mm. Surfaces can be anodized, brushed, painted, or otherwise treated to meet diverse processing needs.
An aluminum disc is a circular sheet produced by stamping or shearing aluminum coils or plates. "Deep drawing" refers to the material's ability to undergo large-depth stretching during stamping without cracking or breaking. This makes it ideal for producing complex or deep-formed lampshades.
Alloys such as 1060, 1100, and 3003 aluminum circles offer excellent deep drawing performance. For deep drawing, O-temper (annealed state) is most suitable, as it provides softness and high ductility, ensuring smooth forming of complex shapes. Therefore, these alloys are widely used in lampshade manufacturing.
Lampshade aluminum circle production mainly adopts casting-rolling (CC) and hot-rolling (DC) processes. Hot-rolled discs have higher elongation, making them better for deep drawing applications, though at a slightly higher cost. Customers can choose based on their specific requirements.
1060 Aluminum Circle: Known for outstanding elongation and very low strength, it is perfect for large-depth, complex shape stretching. It resists cracking during deep drawing and provides a smooth surface for subsequent treatments such as anodizing or painting.
1100 Aluminum Circle: Slightly stronger than 1060 while maintaining excellent deep drawing performance. It has good corrosion resistance, making it suitable for lamps used in outdoor or humid environments.
3003 Aluminum Circle: Stronger than pure aluminum while retaining excellent formability and deep drawing properties. It offers superior corrosion resistance, making it ideal for larger lampshades or those requiring structural strength. Its higher strength reduces deformation risks during transport or use.

Lightweight & Strong: Aluminum density is only one-third of steel, reducing the total lamp weight and making installation easier.
Excellent Optical Properties: After polishing, anodizing, or coating, the surface can achieve mirror reflection or soft-light effects, enhancing lighting quality.
Thermal Conductivity: Aluminum is an excellent conductor of heat. In LED lighting, the lampshade itself aids in heat dissipation, prolonging the light source’s lifespan.
Durable & Corrosion-Resistant: Performs well in both indoor and outdoor environments without rusting.
Flexible Forming: Suitable for spinning, stamping, stretching, and deep drawing, enabling lampshades of various depths and designs.
Eco-Friendly: Fully recyclable, aligning with sustainable development trends in the lighting industry.
Anodizing: Creates a hard, wear-resistant, and decorative oxide layer available in various colors.
Spraying / Coating: Offers matte, glossy, or textured effects.
Polishing / Mirror Finish: Especially suitable for 1060 and 1100 alloys, enabling high reflectivity for reflectors and lamp components, improving lighting efficiency.
Complete range of specifications - from ultra-thin 0.5mm to heavy 6.5mm.
Clean surfaces free from scratches, oil stains, oxidation marks, or black spots.
For discs thicker than 1.0mm, finished edges remain smooth and burr-free.
Excellent grain size and elongation control ensure superior deep drawing and spinning performance, minimizing defects such as draw lines, earring, or wrinkling.
Fully compliant with RoHS and REACH environmental standards, meeting domestic and international market requirements.
