Metal spinning reshapes a flat aluminum disc over a mandrel through controlled pressure and rotation. For standard cookware and general spinning programs, our 1050 Aluminum Circle is frequently specified because it combines reliable formability with a clean mill-finish surface. For projects requiring another common high-purity grade, our 1060 Aluminium Circle can be supplied in suitable diameters, thicknesses, and tempers.
Our aluminum circle manufacturing process begins with qualified aluminum coil selected according to the required alloy and temper. The coil is inspected before processing to confirm surface condition, thickness range, and material identification. We then process the material through controlled slitting, blanking, annealing where required, finishing, inspection, and packaging stages.
For spinning grade O temper aluminum discs, annealing is a key process. Proper thermal treatment reduces work hardening introduced during rolling and blanking, restoring ductility for deformation. We control the annealing process according to the alloy, thickness, and intended forming performance. Blanking equipment is selected based on circle diameter, thickness, required edge condition, and production volume. After cutting, discs undergo visual and dimensional inspection. Surface quality is particularly important for aluminum circles used in visible or reflective finished products. Our standard mill finish is suitable for many industrial applications, while brighter or more controlled surfaces may be supplied for lighting, decorative, and appliance components.
We inspect for defects that may interfere with forming or the finished appearance, including deep scratches, dents, oil contamination, severe roll marks, and edge damage.
